About Me

With over thirty years of business experience and more than two decades of sales and marketing experience, Paul Goodrich manages and directs the timeshare resale activities for SPM Resorts, Inc.’s sister company, Palmetto Marketing of Myrtle Beach, Inc. During his long tenure with Palmetto, he has assisted the company in creating a number of successful, on-site resale programs and continues to provide oversight and management for a team of carefully selected, well-trained and competent sales representatives. Paul has worked a number of years supervising the timeshare sales activities for Palmetto Marketing of Myrtle Beach, Inc. at twelve resorts by managing on-site programs to coordinate closings, obtain weeks to sell, Board Reporting and assist with title issues so that sales representatives can handle association-held resale, as well as owners’ weeks. Paul came from a background as a sales representative in the fast-paced television advertising business and also served an eight-year stint in the U.S. Navy, as a combat cameraman. Active with the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), Paul is a frequent speaker at ARDA educational sessions and has been called upon to write for DEVELOPMENTS magazine. He currently serves on the ARDA Resort Owners Coalition (ARDA ROC) Board of Directors. He readily serves in his local community (he is a past Chairman of the Horry County Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee) and works with local government on community improvement projects. Paul is also involved in various civic and church activities, including serving as a church Elder and working with Missions to the World, a non-profit group assisting underprivileged citizens of third world countries.
